Anthony J. Loscalzo - President

Anthony J. Loscalzo today heads Loscalzo & Loscalzo, P.C. and is in his third decade with the firm. In addition to the experience passed on by this father, Frank Loscalzo, founder of the firm, Anthony Loscalzo brings extensive professional qualifications to the firm.
Mr. Loscalzo graduated from St. John's University School of Law in 1969 and was admitted to practice in the State of New York that same year. He was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court Eastern and Southern New York Districts in 1973 and the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court in 1975. In addition, he was admitted to practice in the State of Florida in 1971.
He serves as an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association and with the New York City Arbitration Program.

Arthur E. Blyn - (1911-2005)

As Special Counsel to the firm, contributes the experience of distinguished judicial and professional careers to Loscalzo & Loscalzo, P.C.
Judge Blyn was first appointed interim Judge of the Civil Court of the City of New York by Mayor John Lindsay in 1972. He was subsequently elected to a full term in 1973 on the Democratic, Republican and Liberal Party lines.
Governor Hugh Carey appointed Judge Blyn interim Surrogate of New York County in 1977. He served Terms as Acting Supreme Court Justice of the Supreme Court, New York County, in 1974 and 1975, and was subsequently elected as Justice of the Supreme Court in 1977, on the Democratic, Republican and Liberal Party lines.
Judge Blyn has been President of the Board of Judges of the Civil Court of the City of New York and has chaired several of the Board's committees. He has also served as Special Pre-Trial Master in the Civil Court, New York County.
Judge Blyn's knowledge and authority on legal matters is widely recognized by his peers and he has served as Lecturer at the official seminars of the Civil Court, Supreme Court, New York Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Small Claims Arbitrators.
He is admitted to practice in the District Court of Eastern and Southern New York, the U.S. Court of Claims and the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition, he serves as an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association. He is a graduate and former faculty member of the Brooklyn Law School.

Alan M. Chaut
Alan M. Chaut, brings to Loscalzo & Loscalzo, P.C. diverse experience in the areas of finance, law, and insurance settlements and claims.
Mr. Chaut graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and Finance and the St. John's University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
His Loscalzo & Loscalzo, P.C. accident case work practice is augmented by an extensive background in insurance company procedures. He was for many years Claims and Special Representative for The Travelers Insurance Company, specializing in the areas of general liability, product liability and auto bodily injury claims.

Michael Kafer - Managing Attorney 
Michael Kafer has a distinguished legal background bringing substantial settlements to accident victims. Admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, including the Federal District, he originally started his law practice with Loscalzo and Loscalzo, later owned and managed his own law firm, and has recently rejoined the Loscalzo family of professional.
Specializing in aggressive ligation, his monetary awards have been in the mega-millions, bringing a great deal of gratification to his clients.
A graduate of the University of Rochester and the New York Law School, he is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Bronx Bar and the New York County Lawyers. He is an expert on Municipal Law Use, having been appointed and elected a member of the Closter (New Jersey) Zoning Board of Adjustment, Closter Councilman and Closter Planning Board.

Romy L. Horn - Staff Attorney

Romy L. Horn received her law degree from St. John's University School of Law and her undergraduate degree in history from Adelphi University.

Alan S. Berkowitz - Of Counsel

Alan S. Berkowitz graduated from Brooklyn College and New York University School of Law. He has more than thirty-five years of litigation experience as well as lengthy experience in real estate and commercial matters.

Robert Stein - Of Counsel

Robert Stein received his degrees from SUNY Binghamton and National Law Center at George Washington University, and has some twenty-two years of litigation experience.
He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the U.S. District Courts, for the Eastern and Southern New York Districts, and the United States Supreme Court.

Edward Goldman - Paralegal

Edward Goldman has been a member of the Loscalzo & Loscalzo paralegal staff fo more than 15 years. A graduate of the Adelphi University's Lawyers Assistant Program and The New York College of Insurance, he is an expert in civil litigation and medical malpractice.
Mr. Goldman's experience includes supervisory positions managing medical and clinical practices, and organization of outreach programs with local agencies and community boards. He has also served as a Public Health Advisor with the U.S. Public Health Service.
In addition, he has been a Property and Casualty Advisor for insurance companies in the New York area.

Linda Benardos - Office Administrator

Linda Benardos is Loscalzo & Loscalzo's Office Administrator. She received her legal training at St. Joseph's Academy and has worked for the legal department of Continental Insurance.Starting as a secretary in 1966, she now supervises its administrative staff and processes all new cases. She has the additional responsibility of assigning and dispatching investigators for all cases.
